So are we going to have to RE-BUY Minecraft on Xbox One arcade? If and then, I'm going to be very angry because they have done nothing but spiral usa over with this coin scheme.
And so we not simply have to pay for textures, mash-up packs, and character skins that should be Gratis simply we accept to RE Purchase the game AGAIN? We're paying Another 20 dollars for a game that withal doesn't permit map downloads, mods, or custom content at all. What is the incentive? Are they seriously expecting people to buy it once more when they could just spend the same amount to go the PC version and get everything free?
I could understand the showtime time when we didn't know very much, but nosotros know the game program now...
It's all merely a huge middle finger.

You should get that centre finger ready considering yes, yous take to buy it once more.
It isn't the aforementioned game. Just considering you lot bought it on the Xbox 360 doesn't mean you lot are deserving of the Xbox One Edition for free. They're ii split up games.

Cypher in Microsoft's history as a game company suggests anything other than yous will accept to buy the game again on Xbox One. If that is unacceptable to you then only don't buy information technology. Video games are a hobby, not a necessity.

You're comparing an open platform to a closed one. Everything that is free on the PC is created by the fan base. Mojang gave people permission to change THEIR (as in Mojang'south) code and then that the fan base tin can create mods.
Microsoft does not want people who is non licensed past them messing with the system. They don't want to take the chance that people will backdoor them and people will end up with personal information stolen, or organisation failures due to what people may or may not do.
Because Microsoft does not allow 3rd party modification, you now accept to look at who tin do them. Who is allowed to create textures, skins, "brew-up" packs? 4J Studios.
You haven't repurchased the game for anything. You didn't buy a Minecraft port from the PC. Minecraft Xbox360 Edition. You bought a different version of the game. Y'all don't get the Mobile version for gratuitous.
Now I can't say anything near 360 to 1 since there is no information, and everything is just blind guesses, but even if you did have to buy the game for the Ane, I don't run across the big deal. Permit's recall...Microsoft and Sony consoles are not backwards compatible! How can yous play a 360 game that isn't' compatible with your new system?
If yous're frustrated with how consoles work, and you endeavor to justify it when maxim to buy the PC version instead, then why not? The console version is not going to ever be the PC version. We aren't e'er going to have worlds that match the size of the PC. Nosotros will never have servers that permit hundreds of people to be on it at the same time.

I don't even know how this line of thought makes sense to the OP.
When Minecraft was first written, was it instantly ready to work on all platforms or did the Dev's have to put boosted work into making it piece of work on the various platforms? I think (or at least hope) we all know the answer to that.
All of that extra work should be compensated for.
Since the PC version seems like the clear improve deal to you, why don't you just stick with that? I am perfectly happy with my XBox 360 MC and paying for the DLC as information technology comes out. I also plan on eventually ownership an XBox I JUST FOR MINECRAFT and I will happily pay for that version of the game (and most, if not all of the DLC that volition come out for it)

If yous recollect that re ownership information technology is bad i don't think you lot have put whatever thought in this.Call of duty keeps making the same run down game and anybody buys it, for iv times the cost!

I believe a Xbone is a person that don't know why posting on a mobile device will word fill another discussion making it spelled wrong.
Back on topic. You have two options, you lot can buy the new Minecraft for the Xbox i like I will or you lot can keep playing Minecraft on PC and 360.

Add me if you like I play mostly COD, but I do play alot of Minecraft also.

Ah yeah, the ole "Everything should be free for me, and everybody should work for complimentary for me!" thinking. There were dozens of posts like this when the xbox version was commencement introduced.
Sorry, but as a lot of the states have already found out, in the Real World there is a "huge middle finger".... and it's pointing at us.

I understood what Xbone meant equally soon as I saw
OT: If you read before yous bought the game "No refunds". Then when you purchase it you purchase it and coin's gone.

Indeed.
I am appalled at how people don't observe existing patterns and know the respond is "not complimentary" Every different platform for MC has a separate price as it is non a shared license. Pretty much every game is like that.
Gratuitous mods on the PC are free because they are made by fans and distributed by fans. Consoles and mobile devices don't generally support mods, then of course, any add together-ons to those games are Not free.
Duh!
to height information technology all off, information technology's not like we're talking about a $60 game. The next platform release of MC will probably price $20. Which is about how much you'll spend to take a date to a 2 hour picture show.
MC's $twenty cost tag supplies quite a scrap more than entertainment than 2 hours.
And then having to "re-purchase" for another platform (which nobody is FORCING everyone to do) isn't actually that bad when viewed with the other ways we waste money for entertainment.

Not entirely truthful since this is a DRM championship, it actually wouldn't be hard for 'the same company' in this case Microsoft, to allow for transference of the license from the 360 to the 1, allowing the championship to be downloaded for free providing yous have the 360 version. So is it possible for them to do so, hell yes and probably not hard for them to do so either. Will they is an entirely dissimilar question to which nosotros all know the answer to this.
Non sure when the last fourth dimension you went to the movies and what not, however last time i was in that location spent OVER 60$, two tickets, snacks and drinks, and your into that range pretty quick.
Honestly I can see where the OP is coming from. Seriously with this generation of consoles (360 generation), nosotros as consumers have seen our wallets take a hit pretty damn hard. Nosotros have seen game content that is on disc locked and that we have to pay to unlock, we have seen content that could have been on disc and that was critical to the game cost, we have seen an explosion of DLC some short and overpriced, some decent and all of the in between.
I feel as I'm sure many others do that game companies are beginning to take advantage of consumers, I don't doubt that ane solar day Telephone call of duty comes out and you have to pay for each weapon that you lot desire to utilise, and they will give you additional armor for more $, and faster speeds for more $, and then on.
Anyhow we are all entitled to our opinions, and the OP shouldn't be oppressed because he feels that he deserves to have title rights carried over to the side by side gen console. If enough people were to complain yous just never know what volition happen, The Xbox one has already seen some heavy changes made to it because many complained virtually things they didn't like.

Y'all're not incorrect.
My beef is that we get this question every week past people who seem totally clueless and extend their rationale to things that aren't applicable or aren't going to happen (like costless DLC/mods like the PC version).
The reply is pretty cocky evident for nearly all cases. Yep. Yous will have to spend more money.
Information technology'southward one matter to non want to spend more money on the new championship.
it's another matter to be ignorant on the facts and then launch into the aforementioned old tirade in the same post.

I call back it's funny that some of you lot are griping about buying a $20 game, but yous don't have a trouble shelling out 400-500 dollars for a console to play them on.
If you tin can understand having to buy a panel, why can't you understand having to buy a game to play on it?

I read the title XBONE LOL. NO Comment.
Edit: I exercise take a comment. Your comparison a PC with a Microsoft copyright-nazied console. Does anyone here see what he's done incorrect. This is the prime number reason I relish PC games more than Whatever panel games although in that location are some exceptions.

Ah, the historic period old debate PC or console. At that place are pros and cons to each, the PC and the console. The PC gamer will spend ALOT more in money keeping his machine upto date for 5 to 10 years, where the average panel user only spends a quarter of what the first PC runs. The average PC gamer too needs to worry well-nigh virus, add ware. He needs to keep his drivers upwardly to engagement, has to worry each time he goes in picks upward a game if its compatible with his hardware, and if he has the desired specs to run information technology. At that place is a 95% hazard over the console gamer that when the PC player plays online that he volition run across someone who is modded or running some type of trainer.
I'm certainly non bashing the PC gamer merely equally I said its not all bang-up for PC gamers.

Uhh considering I've bought nigh all skin packs, all texture packs, and bought the game itself.. I've put a lot of money into that game.. at the very least I would like a discount.
Coin schemes similar that don't become over well with me, especially considering their staff rate is so low they have "More awards than staff", they are probably richer than even they would want to exist.
If I have to pay for the game, then all the other stuff I put into the game better be costless because I've probably put in xl-50 dollars into minecraft.. Otherwise I'm quitting Minecraft.
